Krakow, Poland – October 7th, 2020. Of Bird and Cage isa unique, interactive metal concept album created in cooperation with leading artists from the modern rock and metal scene, developed by Capricia Productions and published by All in! Games.The first ever demo version of the game will be available during the Steam Game Festival: Autumn Edition.
Some of the acclaimed artists who took part in the recording Of Bird and Cage are Ron “Bumblefoot” Thal (ex-Guns N’ Roses), Rob van der Loo (Epica), and Ruud Jolie (Within Temptation). The characters are voiced by Kobra Paige (Kobra and the Lotus), Danny Worsnop (Asking Alexandria), and Davidavi ‘Vidi’ Dolev (Gunned Down Horses). As a blend of two media, a game and a music album, Of Bird and Cage is one of the most ambitious, independent projects entering the market next year.
The half-hour long demo, available between October 7-13 during the Steam Game Festival: Autumn Edition, is the perfect introduction to this “dark and mature version of ‘Beauty and the Beast’”, as the developers describe the game. The project, a gripping story about addiction, madness, oppression, love, and fighting for oneself, adorned with a phenomenal soundtrack composed by Arnold Nesis, is the first-of-its-kind music experience in the form of a game available on the market. Apart from a PC version, the game is planned to be released on PS4, Xbox One, and Nintendo Switch as well.
