Mississauga, Canada – June 18th, 2020 – NVYVE Studios is excited to announce that the full release of their debut sci-fi survival horror game, P.A.M.E.L.A., is now available on both Steam and GOG. The full release includes an official story update, a new main quest, many side missions, and much more extensive dialogue from Pamela throughout the game.
“We are all very excited to finally share with our community the full release and story mode for P.A.M.E.L.A. Over the years, all of the support and positive feedback from our fans has encouraged us to make the best full release that we could make and we could not thank you all enough. We cannot wait for everyone to get to experience this story mode full access version of P.A.M.E.L.A.” said Marvin Maalouf, President and CEO of NVYVE Studios.
P.A.M.E.L.A. begins as a sleeper is awoken from cryosleep in Eden, an unforgiving utopian city turned dystopian, that explores the unforeseen consequences of humanity’s craving for technological and biological advancement. The citizens in Eden once lived in harmony with each other, until an unforgiving virus was spread through each citizen’s AARM, making each citizen experience painful bone degradation. As the Sleeper, players will struggle to survive alongside Pamela, Eden’s AI overseer, as they explore the once vibrant utopian city to try and find a cure for this ghastly disease.
Players can defend themselves against the denizens of Eden by customizing modular equipment while they explore the environment to gather and upgrade weapons and construct a safe haven. Energy is finite in Eden, so players must manage the city’s power reserves wisely, using energy only when necessary to avoid the dangers of being stuck in the dark. Since the vicious afflicted citizens are still lurking around Eden, players must tread carefully to avoid any major altercations with the citizens because each encounter could be the player’s last.
The new P.A.M.E.L.A. story mode takes players on an emotional journey through Eden. With Pamela by the player’s side, her flashbacks paint a picture of how exactly Eden’s downfall came to be, but also reveals how she became Eden’s once trusted and favored AI overseer.
